We are so used to Blake Griffin dunk highlights but his past weekend he made a miracle of a shot that didn’t even count. Even though the shot didn’t count, it is still highlight real.
It happened in the Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings game. In the third quarter the Kings missed a shot and Griffin went out on the fast break. Chris Paul threw Griffin an outlet pass but Donte Green mugged Griffin when he got close to the hoop. Still though, Griffin threw up a miracle scoop layup when falling to the ground. AIT went in but the basket didn’t count because the officials charged Green with a flagrant foul before the shot and also said Griffin traveled. I guess they still call traveling in the NBA. Even though that basket didn’t count Griffin still finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds in the Clippers’ 109-44 win.
