The Los Angeles Clippers are struggling as a team right now but their star Blake Griffin is still bringing highlight real dunks. In Last night’s win over the Phoenix Suns Griffin had another monster dunk.
This is how the monster dunk happened. Griffin goes to set a pick and roll for Chris Paul near the top of three point line. Paul takes a couple dribbles to the free throw line then throws a bounce pass to the cutting Griffin. As soon as Griffin catches the pass he puts down the monster one handed dunk. All Suns Channing Frye can do it get out of the way though he still got dunked on.
For the game Griffin finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds. There is no debate that Griffin is by far the best dunker in the NBA but he needs to improve his all around game. He needs better post moves and needs to work on his free throw shooting.
Check out the monster dunk below.
Since coming to the New York Knicks mid-season J.R. Smith has struggled but he is still one of the most explosive and athletic players in the league. This was on display last night in the Knicks blow out of the Orlando Magic.
Point guard Mike Bibby just had a pick set for him, and takes a couple dribble when he sees Smith cutting to the hoop. Bibby throws the perfect alley oop pass to Smith who throws it down with one hand. That was pretty impressive.
