A night of Game Winning shots in the NBA

Published on March 8, 2012 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

What an exciting night last night in the NBA. There was game winning shot after game winning shot . Below I will breakdown and show video of all the game winning shots last night in the NBA.

1. Derrick Rose- Everyone in the gym knew Derrick Rose was going to take the last shot of the game in the final seconds against the Milwaukee Bucks. Rose was 1 on 1 with Brandon Jennings. Rose had a couple of crossovers on Jennings and then he nailed a step back jumper to give the Bulls the 2 point victory at the buzzer. Wow that was nasty move by Rose, that had a little MJ in it. For the game Rose had 30 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists.

2. Kyrie Irving- The season isn’t over yet but Kyrie Irving is already locked up the rookie of the year in my mind. His game last night really didn’t hurt his chance. With the Denver Nuggets leading the Cavs by 1 the Cavs head the ball with 15 seconds left. Irving went coast to coast and hit a impressive left handed lay up to give the Cavs a 1 point left with 4 seconds left. Irving switched hands of the dribble that was impressive.

3. Jordan Farmar – You would think Deron Williams would take the game winning shot for the Nets, wrong. It was Jordan Farmar. With the LA Clippers leading the Nets by 2 with time running down Williams passed the ball to Farmar who nail the three pointer with .4 seconds left.

4. Isaiah Thomas- The Kings were down 1 point and the Hornets had the ball. Off the inbounds play Thomas came up with a steal then passed the ball to John Salmons who finished the layup.
