Conference play is over, so it is time to do my all conference teams for each conference. Today I look at the Pac 12. Find out who have been the best players in the Pac 12 so far. I will also give my player, coach and freshman of the year in the Pac 12.
Player of the Year: Jared Cunningham (Oregon State)
Coach of the Year: Dana Altman (Oregon)
Freshman of the Year: Tony Wroten (Washington)
1st team
G Jared Cunningham, Oregon State (Jr.) – Cunningham is one of the most explosive players in the country. Cunningham is the Player of the Year in the Pac 12. He leads the Pac 12 in points (18.6) and steals (2.8). He also averages 2.8 assists.
G Jorge Gutierrez, California (Sr.) – Gutierrez does it all for California. For the season he is averaging 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.2 steals.
F Brock Motum, Washington State (Jr.) – Motum is 2nd in the Pac 12 in scoring with 18.1 points. Motum also shoots 38% from three and pulls down 6.5 rebounds per game.
G Tony Wroten, Washington (Fr.) – Wroten is doing it all as a freshman. This season he is averaging 16. 3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2 steals. He is the third leading scorer in the Pac 12.
G Devoe Joseph, Oregon (Sr.) – The Minnesota transfer is 3rd in the Pac 12 in scoring with 16.8 points per game. Joseph is making 2.4 threes per game while shooting 45 % from three. He also averages 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
2nd Team
G/F Terrence Ross, Washington (Soph.) – For the season Ross is averaging 15.3 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. He is also making 1.8 threes per game.
G Allen Crabbe, California (Soph.) – Crabbe is the 5th leading scorer (15.4) in the Pac 12. He also averages 5.6 rebounds on the season and shots 41 % from three. He leads the Pac 12 in made threes per game (2.5).
F Andre Roberson, Colorado (Soph.)- Roberson is averaging a double double on the season. He leads the Pac 12 in rebounds (11.2) and blocks (1.9). He is averaging 11.2 points per game.
G Lazeric Jones, UCLA (Sr.)- Jones is the 9th leading scorer (13.4) in the Pac 12. He is 5th in the conference with assists (4.2) and third in steals (1.8). Jones is also averaging 3.6 rebounds.
G Kyle Fogg, Arizona (Sr.)- Fogg is the Wildcats leading scorer with 13.5 points per game. Fogg is also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He is shooting 43 % from three while making 2.1 threes per game.
3rd Team
G Trent Lockett, Arizona State (Jr.) – Lockett is the Sun Devil’s best and most consistent player. He leads the Sun Devils in points (13.3). Also shots 42% from three. He is also averaging 5.9 rebounds.
F E.J. Singler, Oregon (Jr.) – His brother, Kyle, who was at Duke might get all the fame but E.J. is a solid player himself. Singler is the Ducks second leading scorer (13.2) and leading rebounder (5.5). He also averages 2.2 assists.
F Josh Owens, Stanford (Sr.) – Owens is a very athletic big man. He leads the Cardinal in rebounds with 5.8. He is second on the team with points 12.1.
F Solomon Hill, Arizona (Sr.) – For the season Hill is averaging 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds. Hill is second in the Pac 12 in rebounding. He is also averaging 2.7 assists per game.
G C.J. Wilcox, Washington (Soph.)- Wilcox is 7th in the Pac 12 in scoring with 13.9 points per game. He is making 2.3 threes per game while shooting 41 % from three.
