Every time Blake Griffin has a highlight real dunk you have to think he can’t out do the latest dunk but he can. This was the case on Monday night when the Los Angeles Clippers played host to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Here is how the play unfolded. Griffin set a pick for Chris Paul, then Griffin rolls to the hoop, and Paul gives Griffin a bounce pass then Griffin does his magic. Griffin literary jumps over and dunks on Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins. Griffin just posterizes Perkins. He threw down this dunk with some authority. Poor Perkins, he is one of the better defenders in the leagues.
So far this has to be the best dunk this NBA season and it’s not even close. It’s hard to say but that might be Griffin’s best dunk in his young NBA career. He is just so explosive, athletic, powerful, and so many other words to describe him. He dunks with vengeance.
As for the game the Clippers beat the Thunder 112-100. The Thunder are the best team in the NBA record wise. For the Thunder it was a two man with both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scoring in the 30s. While the Clippers were more of a balance attack, with six players scoring in double figures. Paul had 26 while Griffin had 22.
