12 players will represent the United States in the 2012 Olympics in London. So what players what try and defend the USA’s gold medal?

On Monday USA Basketball released a list of 20 finalists.

Here is how the 20 players work out by position works on by position.

Point Guards: Chauncey Billups, Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Deron Williams

Shooting Guards: Kobe Bryant, Eric Gordon, Dwyane Wade

Small Forwards: Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, LeBron James, Lamar Odom, Rudy Gay

Power Forwards: LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Bosh, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love

Centers: Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard

No really big surprise here. I thought maybe Rajon Rondo, Monta Ellis, David Lee and Joe Johnson might have been on this list.

I am not Mike Krzyzewski but if I were here is what I would be thinking right now. This won’t be easy for Coach K.

Of the above players here are my locks to make the team (10): Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Dwight Howard

My players that are on the bubble (4) : Deron Williams, Chris Bosh, LaMarucs Aldridge, Tyson Chandler

My players that have no shot to make the Olympic roster (6): Chauncey Billups, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Andre Iguodala, Lamar Odom, Rudy Gay
