Paul Pierce Fires backs at J.R. Smith

The new look Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks have not even played a game yet , but there has been plenty of trash talking in the off season.

The latest war of words is betting Paul Pierce of the Nets, and J.R. Smith of the Knicks. It all started when Smith had the following to say about Pierce.

“I just look at him as a bitter person just getting out of Boston,” Smith said. “He doesn’t really know what New York is all about. He’s been playing in Boston his whole career. He just knows, just know that his words have consequences and he’s going to have to pay for them.”

When asked about these comments from Smith , this is how Pierce responded:

“Who? Who are we talking about right now? Exactly.”

I just can’t wait until these two teams meet on the court. Hopefully then there talking will be about their play on the court.
