With the 2011 NBA draft coming up here are my top 10-centers in the draft. I have only really listed my top 6 because they arent to many good prospects in this year’s draft. This is bad news with so many teams looking for quality centers in the draft.
Strengths- excellent around the basket including a hook shoot, great length and athlete, good rebounder and shot blocker. Weaknesses- needs to add weight, jump shoot is inconsistent, work on better post moves.
Strengths- very strong rebounder, excellent finisher around the basket, solid mid range jumper. Weaknesses-not great athlete needs to become better shoot blocker, can get tired easily
Strengths-outstanding length brings energy on the floor, great leaper and shoot blocker. Weaknesses- very limited offensively, no jump shoot at all, no hands
Strengths- very high basketball IQ, excellent shooter even from three, great rebounder. Weaknesses- needs to be more physical, not a great athlete, needs to handle contact better
Strengths- excellent shoot blocker has jump shoot with range, great length and athleticism. Weaknesses- forces too many shoots, needs better upper body strength, needs to play defense without fouling.
