James Michael McAdoo (North Carolina)- McAdoo is probably coming off his best game of the season scoring 22 points and bringing down 10 rebounds. Wake Forest just gave up 32 points to Duke’s Mason Plumlee, so look for McAdoo to have a big game.
Trey Burke (Michigan)- If you can afford him, take him. Right now, I think he is the National Player of the Year. He is the model of consistency; he has scored in double figures every game. He will have revenge on his mind especially because Ohio State already beat Michigan ,and plus he is a Columbus kid that the Buckeyes didn’t go after.
Nerlens Noel (Kentucky)- Too bad blocks were part of college basketball scoring because he is leading the nation in blocks. That being said Noel is coming off his best offensive performance of the season scoring 19 points. He also brought down 14 rebounds. He has great value on most of the sites.
A.J. Hammons- Hammons has been the Purdue offense in the last two game scoring 19 and 30 points in those games. He is going up against the worst team in the Big Ten, Penn State. The Nittany Lions really lack any post presence.
Kenny Boynton and Eric Murphy (Florida)- Right now I think the Gators are the best team in college basketball. This game should feature a ton of scoring as both teams are in the top 25 nationally in points scored. Murphy is a deadly three point shooter, who has scored in double figures 8 of last 9 games. Boynton is averaging 14 ppg in last 5 games. He is also coming off a 10 assist game.
Shane Larkin and Durand Scott (Miami)- No one has been able to stop these guards lately. They both should have a field day against a very bad Boston College team. The Hurricanes don’t have much depth in the backcourt so Larkin and Scott pretty much play the whole game. Larkin is avenging 19ppg in his last 2 games. While Scott is coming off an 18 point game.
Marcus Paige (North Carolina)- Paige came into North Carolina as the number 1 rated freshman point guard in the country but he has been up and down this season. However, he is coming off his best game, where he had 19 points and 5 assists.
Mitch McGary and Jon Horford (Michigan)- Both of these players’ minutes increased with the injury to Jordan Morgan. Of these two players I like McGary better, he is coming off his best game of the season with 10 points against Indiana.
Julian Gamble (Miami)- With Reggie Johnson coming back from injury you would think his production would go down. However, in the Hurricanes last game Gamble scored a season high 16 points.
Julius Mays (Kentucky)- Like Noel, Mays is coming off his best offensive performance of the season scoring 19 points.
Still Away From:
Lenzelle Smith Jr. (Ohio State)- He plays really well against the poor teams but not the elite teams. He is only averaging 5 ppg in games versus Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.
Alex Poythress (Kentucky)- For whatever reason his playing time just keeps on going down and down. He’s not worth his price.
Michael Snaer (Florida State)- While Snaer is a top defender he is inconsistent as a scorer. He has only score in double figures in 3 out of his last 8 games.
In case I needed to tell you don’t take any players on South Carolina, nobody on Boston College not named Ryan Anderson, and nobody on Penn State not named D.J. Newbill or Jermaine Marshall.
P.“J. Hairston– Still liking out with concussion
Jordan Morgan – Probably game time decision
Willie Cauley- Stein- Still coming back from injury won’t play much
