Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah isn’t exactly known for breaking ankles with the dribble but that is exactly what he did in last night’s playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
In the second quarter Noah received a pass at the three point line the 76ers Thaddeus Young was playing defense on Noah. Noah then dribbled towards the basket doing a little shimmy-shake and head fake than caused Young to fall to the ground. Noah than passed the ball to Carlos Boozer who nailed the jump shot in the corner.
That was pretty embarrassing for Young, you rarely see a center breaking someone ankles off the dribble. Especially for Young who is a very athletic player. Odds are though that Young just slipped and he didn’t fall to the ground because he was faked out by Noah.
Check out Noah’s play on the video below.
Philadelphia’s Andre Iguodala is one of the best athletes and dunkers in the NBA. He just has great explosive. Iguodala’s ability to dunk the ball was on display on Tuesday night when he threw down a monster dunk on the Bulls.
On a fast break Iguodala receives a pass at the three point line takes one dribble and throws down a monster dunk with Loul Deng trying to stop it. The 76ers cruise to a 109-82 in game 2 of the the 1st round match up.
