Carmelo Anthony: Don’t count on me joining the Lakers

When Dwight Howard decided not to resign with the Los Angeles Lakers the rumors already started about what star player would head to LA in next year’s free agency period. Those stars being Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James.

While recently in LA , TMZ caught up with Anthony, and this is what he had to say.

Anthony was leaving Craig’s in Hollywood this week when we asked straight up if he could see himself in purple and gold after his contract with the Knicks runs out.

CA’s response? “Ummmmm, I doubt it….”

Anthony also told TMZ … he’s NOT secretly plotting with LeBron James to join the same NBA squad … though he admits, they’re pretty damn good when they play together.

I just don’t see Anthony being a Los Angeles Laker.
