Tonight the Miami Heat are set to play the Oklahoma City Thunder, and LeBron James will look to continue his record scoring streak.
For six games straight LeBron James has scored at least 30 points and has made at least 60 % of his shots. He pasted the record held by Adrian Dantley and Moses Malone.
Last time out against Portland LeBron, finished with 30 points on 11 of 15 shooting from the field.
Here is what LeBron said in a TV interview after the game.
“I’m at a loss for words,” James said in a televised postgame interview. “Like I say over and over, I know the history of the game. I know how many unbelievable players who came through the ranks, who paved the way for me and my teammates. And for me to be in the record books by myself with such a stat — any stat — it’s big-time.”
James has improved his all-around game in the last couple of years. He can score in the post with his post moves. He has also become a lot better jump shooter.
Over his last 6 games James is shooting 66 of 92 from the field a crazy 72 %. In this stretch he is also shooting 56 % from three land.
While I think James scores 30 points tonight, I think he will fail to shot over 60 % from the field.
