Irving and Henderson hit game winners

Published on January 28, 2013 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Charlotte Bobcats are two of the worst teams in the NBA , but over the weekend both teams won on game winning shots.

First the Cavs, there were down by two to Toronto but that had the ball with 12.6 seconds left. Irving walked the ball up court and calmly knocked down a three pointer with .7 seconds left to give the Cavs the one point victory. This already gives Irving 5 game winning shot in his young career.

While the Cavs walk-off win was pretty the Bobcats was anything but. The Bobcats were down 2 to Minnesota with 23 seconds left but they had the ball. As you watch the video below you will see the Bobcats nearly turned the ball over about 3 or 4 times but with 5 seconds left Henderson made a three pointer to give the Bobcats the win.

This win snapped a 16 home court losing streak for the Bobcats.
