6.Florida- The Gators received good news when their leading scorer Kenny Boynton decided to return to Florida. Big man Patric Young also decided to return to school. The Gators best overall player Bradley Beal has yet to decide on his future yet. Sharp shooter Erik Murphy also returns. Look for guards Mike Rosario and Scott Wilbekin to produce with more playing time. Bill Donovan once again brings in a top recruiting class led by point guard Braxton Ogbueze. Once again the Gators will be a top three point shooting team question is do they have enough beef inside?

7. Syracuse- Seniors Kris Joseph and Scoop Jardine are gone and so far Fab Mel and Dion Waiters, who are both leaving early for the NBA. However, Syracuse was one of the deepest teams in the country last season. Brandon Triche will be the leader of this team; he is returning leading scorer for the Orange. Wing players C.J. Fair, James Southerland, and Michael Carter- Williams will only get better with more playing time. Rakeem Christmas and Baye Keita will man the middle for Syracuse. Center DaJuan Coleman also joins the mix; he is a top 10 recruit.

8. Ohio State- Jared Sullinger is going to NBA and William Buford is graduating, but other than that the Buckeyes bring everyone else back. Deshaun Thomas will be one of the top scorers in the country next season. He can score in multiple ways. The best all-around point guard Aaron Craft returns. Lenzelle Smith, Jr. joins Craft in the backcourt he really turns it on in the tournament. The Buckeyes have a handful of talented players that should excel with more playing time. Some of those players are Sam Thompson, Shannon Scott, Amir Williams and LaQuinton Ross.

9. North Carolina- The hopes for winning a title for the Tar Heels last season were ruined by injuries. Now the Heels top 3 players are off to the NBA, and the best passing point guard is also off to the NBA, but at UNC they reload not rebuild. Leading the way will be forward James Michael McAdoo, who shined in the tournament. One thing is for sure North Carolina won’t be lacking depth at the guard and wing positions. Leslie McDonald and Dexter Strickland return from injury joining Reggie Bullock and P.J. Hairston. Also the nation’s top point guard recruit Marcus Paige is coming to UNC. Talented incoming freshman Brice Johnson and Joel James will get a ton of playing time inside for the Heels. UNC is also in the mix to land UConn transfer Alex Oriakhi.

10. NC State- The Wolfpack really came on late in the season late year and the program’s future under Mark Gottfried looks bright. If C.J. Leslie does not go to the NBA he will team up with Richard Howell to form the best frontcourt in the ACC. Lorenzo Brown will be one of the best all-around point guards in the country next season. Deadly shooter Scott Wood is also back. Gottfried brings in three McDonalds All Americans in Rodney Purvis, T.J. Warren and Tyler Lewis.
