Nine Teams will wear Nike’s new gray jerseys

Published on January 29, 2012 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

Gray is the latest trend in college basketball. Of course I am talking about the jerseys. Sadly these days some players care more about how they look than how they play in the game.

This past week Nike revealed 9 new gray jerseys that each team will wear throughout the coming weeks. These jerseys are called Nike’s new Hyper Elite Platinum jersey.

The teams that will wear jerseys’ have all won titles and have the best tradition in all of college basketball. However in the upcoming weeks they will break that tradition.

Nike selected to have the following teams wear their new gray jerseys Arizona, Baylor (women’s), Duke, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Syracuse and Connecticut (men’s and women’s).

The UConn’s mens basketball team was the first to wear the new jerseys today. Here is the rest of the schedule. UConn vs. Notre Dame (1/29), Kentucky vs. Tennessee (1/31), Duke vs. Maryland (2/11), Florida vs. Tennessee (2/11), Syracuse vs. USF (2/22), Arizona vs. UCLA (2/25) and UNC vs. Maryland (2/29).

Check out pictures of the jerseys from some of the teams below.
