Recapping all the Moves from the 1st day of Free Agency

Yesterday was the first official day of free agency.  Who signed where? Find out below. 

Free Agents Tracker Day 1

-          Coming off a championship season with Dallas, Tyson Chandler has now decided to go to the Big Apple.  Chandler has signed a 4 year, $58M contract with the New York Knicks.

-          Tayshaun Prince has been a Detroit Piston his whole career and it will stay that way.  He also signed a 4 year contract worth $27M.

-          Coming off an injury plagued season Caron Butler has decided to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.  He signed a three year deal worth $24M.

-          Thaddeus Young decided to stay and resign with Philadelphia.  Young signed a 5 year deal for $43M.

-          Shane Battier decided to take his talents to south beach.  Terms not known yet.

-          Marcus Thornton was a Sacramento King last year and it will stay that way.  He signed a 4 year deal worth $31M to stay with the Kings.

-          Jeff Green has signed a one year contract to remain with the Boston Celtics.  Question now is will he get traded.

-          Glenn big baby Davis is headed to Orlando in a sign and trade deal.

-          Greg Oden has agreed to a one year, $8.9M qualifying offer to stay with the Portland Trailblazers. Question is can he stay healthy?

-          Mario Chalmers will remain in Miami.  The terms are not yet known.

-          Grant Hill has signed a 1 year deal to stay with the Phoenix Suns. Deal is worth $6.5M.

-          Former super star Tracy McGrady has signed a 1 year deal worth the veteran’s minimum with the Atlanta Hawks.

-          The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Mike Dunleavy to a 2 year contract worth $7.5 M.

-          Former Laker Shannon Brown has signed with the Phoenix Suns.  Brown signed for a one year deal worth $3.5M.

-          Earl Waston has signed with the Utah Jazz terms are unknown.

-          T.J. Ford has signed with the Spurs, terms are unkown.

-          Jeff Foster has resigned with the Indiana Pacers for 1 year.  Terms are unknown.

-          Chuck Hayes is headed to Sacramento.  He signed a 4 year contract worth $21.3 M to play with the Kings.

-          Daequan Cook will be playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the next 2 seasons.  He signed a deal worth $7.5M.

-          Tony Battie has agreed to play in Philadelphia for 1 year.

-          Jamaal Magloire has agreed to sign with Toronto. Terms are unknown at this team.

-          Derrick Brown has agreed to a 1 year deal with Charlotte

-          James Jones will remain in Miami. Terms are not known yet

-          Roger Mason has agreed to a 1 year deal with the Washington Wizards.

-          Brandon Wright has agreed to play with the Dallas Mavericks.  Terms are not known.

-          Jason Kapono has agreed to one year at veteran’s minimum with the Lakers.

-          Chris Wilcox has agreed to one year at veteran’s minimum with the Celtics.

-          The Detroit Pistons have signed Jonas Jerebko for a 4 year contract worth $16M.

-          Sebastian Telfair will be a Phoenix Sun this season.  He signed a one year deal worth $1.5M to stay with the Suns.

-          Eric Curry has agreed to one year at veteran’s minimum with the Heat.
