Kevin Ware, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Rockdale County High School in Georgia has committed to play for Louisville and head coach Rick Pitino. Ware is in the class of 2011 meaning he will play this year for Louisville.
Ware once committed to play for Tennessee, then Bruce Pearl was fired so he decommitted from the Vols. Then after that, he committed to Central Florida, but that was only for a couple of days. Stories ran that Ware might have been involved, with a street agent, which caused him to commit to Central Florida. So yesterday the long road seems to be over as Ware committed to Louisville.
Rivals.com ranks Ware the 70th best player for the class of 2011. By looking at his film you can tell he is an excellent athlete. He gets to the rim easy, and he can throw it down with no problem. He needs to work on his ball handling, and committing fewer turnovers.
Ware is one of four players now, in the Rivals.com top 100 to commit to play for Louisville this season. With this talent coming in and some talent returning I see Louisville as one of the best teams in the Big East for next season.
