Harrison Barnes okay coming off Bench

Published on September 13, 2013 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

Harrison Barnes started as a rookie last season but he could come off the bench this season. Barnes a star from North Carolina fell to 7th in the draft, but his play proved he should have gone higher.

Barnes even improved his play during the playoffs in which he averaged 16.1 points per game.

Well in the offseason the Warriors acquired Andre Iguodala in the offseason. Barnes and Iguodala play basically the same position. So it’s likely one of them will start and it’s okay for Barnes to come off the bench.

“Winning the game matters more to me,” Barnes said….

“I can imagine much worse problems,” Barnes said. “I feel confident about this team and where we can go. Regardless if I’m starting or coming off the bench, I think we have a chance to make a serious playoff push.”

If Barnes comes off the bench watch out he could be the sixth man of the Year, because he may not start but he will get plenty of minutes.

Watch out for the Warriors this season they could win the West.
