-It’s playoff basketball which mean players are banged up but will doing everything in their power to play. All you have to do is look at David Lee of the Golden State Warriors. Lee was ruled out of the playoffs a couple of days ago but he was cleared to play last night.
Lee checked into the game late in the 1st quarter and played a couple of minutes. Lee is the league’s leader in double doubles. The Warriors won last night which mean Lee will have more time to rest. It is not known how much Lee can play going forward. Lee is very tough so I would not be shocked if he played a ton of minutes; he is very tough.
-Los Angeles Clipper guard Chris Paul has a bruised left thumb, but he went through practice on Thursday and will be in the starting line up in tonight’s Game 6.
- It’s a different story for the other Clipper’s star Blake Griffin. Griffin will be a game time decision with his right high ankle sprain.
“If I’m able to go and I’m able to help us, it’s really my job to play,” Griffin said. “I owe it to my teammates. If I make the injury worse, there’s no more season left, so it really doesn’t matter anyway. I’ll have a lot of time to rest and a lot of time to heal. As long as I can help my teammates and I can help us, I’m going to play. I’m not really worried about the future right now.”
-Jeremy Lin has been cleared to play for Game 6 but he will not start. Lin has been out because of a bruised chest.
