Unlikely player gives Kings last second win

Published on December 30, 2012 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

The New York Knicks have been the king of the buzzer beaters this season but this time it happened to them. The Knicks have a 105-103 lead and the Sacramento Kings had the ball with about 13 seconds left in the game.

After a missed shot the Kings won the battle for the rebound and the ball fell into the hands of James Johnson. Johnson made a three pointer as time expired to give the Kings a one point victory.

That three pointer was Johnson’s first three pointer of the season. He had been 0 for 11 before making the buzzer beating shot.
