Durant’s incredible shot: Lillard’s monster jam

Published on December 21, 2012 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

Although the Oklahoma City Thunder 12 game winning streak was snapped by the Minnesota Timberwolves, the highlight of the night still went to Kevin Durant. There is no question that Durant is the best pure scorer in the league and he has made every shot out there. Well, last night he added another impossible shot to his list.

During the 3rd quarter Durant was driving the lane and threw up a shot that rolled over the glass and onto the top of the backboard and then the ball dropped straight down into the basket. He also got fouled on the play.

Durant finished the game with 33 points.

Although Portland rookie Damian Lillard came from a small school he is proving to people that he can really play. He is right in the middle of the best rookie in the NBA. He has started at the point since day one.

Last night in a game against the Denver Nuggets he showed off his leaping ability. He received a pass at the top of the key and drove right down the lane and threw down a monster one hand jam. He finished the game with 12 points and 10 dimes.
