2 incredible buzzer beaters at Maui

Published on November 20, 2012 by Scott Shirley   ·   No Comments

The finish to the Marquette Butler basketball game might be the best finish you see all season. With the Bulldogs trailing 71-69 it was time for Butler’s Rotnei Clarke to shine. Off a Marquette miss free throw, Clarke got the rebound and he was getting the final shot he was not looking to pass. The transfer from Arkansas threw up a one handed shot as time expired to give the Bulldogs the one point lead.

The other buzzer beater came from North Carolina’s PJ Hairston. This game was a blowout the Heels had a 46-17 lead right before half. Off a Bulldogs missed dunk Hairston got the rebound and made a ¾ full court shot at the buzzer.
