A year after making the NCAA tournament the Bulldogs had a disappointing season last year finishing with a losing record. The bad news the Bulldogs lose 2 of their top 3 scorers from last season. The goods new the Bulldogs return their starting frontcourt. The Bulldogs really struggled to score last season ranking 307 in the nation in scoring average. Georgia fans should have faith in Fox he got Nevada to 3 NCAA tournaments in 5 years.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs is former McDonalds All American wing Kantavious Caldwell- Pope (13.2 ppg). Pope does a little bit of every for the Bulldogs he exceeds most with his excellent athletic ability. The other two positions in the backcourt is where the questions lie for this team both starters for this season were both reverses last season. Vincent Williams (2.9 ppg), will get be the man at the point. At shooting guard will be Sherrard Brantley (1.7 ppg). Both of these players will be pushed by two very talented freshman point guard Charles Man and shooting guard Kenny Gaines. Freshman Brandon Morris will back up Pope.

In the frontcourt the Bulldogs return both of their starters. Leading the way will be Donte’ Williams (7.8 ppg). He is one of the best shot blockers in the SEC. Joining him in the frontcourt will be Marcus Thornton (3 ppg). He will need to increase his scoring load this season. Georgia has plenty of depth here. Leading the way here is Nemanja Djurisic(7 ppg). He can stretch out the defense. Also providing depth is John Cannon (1.3 ppg), John Florvues (1.8 ppg), Tim Dixon (.3 ppg) and freshman Houston Kessler.
